Built apartment renovation · Miami Beach
Icon
South Beach.
A waterfront apartment transformed into a continuous interior of light, precise millwork and open views.
The project
Making the view part of everyday life.
Icon South Beach Apartment is organized around openness: fewer visual interruptions, longer sightlines and a material language that carries naturally from one room to the next.
The renovation unites the living room and kitchen while giving storage, appliances and media a clear architectural place. Pale oak flooring, white and gray cabinetry, warm timber accents and carefully framed artwork allow the interior to remain calm while the color and movement of the waterfront become the dominant atmosphere.

The Essence Method in practice
Five principles for a more fluid way of living.
The apartment demonstrates how a focused interior renovation can improve spatial clarity, daily comfort and long-term usefulness without competing with its exceptional setting.
- 01
Atmosphere
A light, quiet interior allows the waterfront and changing Miami sky to shape the character of the home.
- 02
Climate
Bright surfaces, solar control and an open relationship to the exterior respond to the intensity of coastal light.
- 03
Materiality
Oak, matte cabinetry, stone-toned surfaces and selected color accents create warmth without visual excess.
- 04
Wellness
Long sightlines, clear circulation and organized storage reduce clutter and support comfortable everyday routines.
- 05
Legacy
Integrated millwork and durable finishes give an existing apartment a renewed identity designed to remain useful.
Interior transformation
A brighter home shaped by connection rather than addition.
Icon South Beach Apartment shows how an existing condominium can feel more generous through spatial discipline: opening relationships, aligning functions and allowing a concise family of materials to move throughout the residence.
For owners considering a condominium or apartment renovation in Miami Beach, the project illustrates the value of coordinating architecture, interiors, custom millwork and building requirements as one integrated process.
