Sustainability

We aim maximum sustainability with the resources of our immediate surroundings and finding the least impactful solution for the environment. Current needs must be satisfied without compromising the ability to meet future ones, respecting natural ecosystems and the quality of the environment.
By guiding the building owners and operators to be environmentally responsible and use resources efficiently.

LEED Accreditation – USGBC

Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design

LEED encourages and accelerates global adoption of sustainable green building and development practices through the creation and implementation of universally understood and accepted tools and performance criteria.

U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) it includes a set of rating systems for the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of green buildings, homes, and neighborhoods.

As LEED members we can focus the design of the building so that it meets all the possible criteria and obtain the best accreditation.

Ecological Design – Passive House

Bioclimatic Architecture and Ecological Construction

Our Sustainability team is a specialist in Bioclimatic and Ecological Systems and Projects (SPEB – ETSAV), we have a wide range of tools to implement in our projects in the design phase to be environmentally responsible in the construction and efficient in the use of the building to save the maximum resources.
To satisfy the needs of any building designed by us, we can apply active and passive systems of energy saving, but we also apply Home Automation to facilitate and automate the use of these systems, improving even more its efficiency.

We analyze environmental factors such as orientation, solar study, rainfall climatology, site; but also the concepts of Form Factor (FF), Thermal Insulation, solar protections, Thermal Inertia, cross ventilation, and others.
Some systems that we apply such as the use of green roof or green wall, light tubes, “Aljibe” or rainwater harvesting, Heat Exchanger (EAHE or WAHE – geothermal, Trombe Wall, Inertia Deposit), renewable energies (solar panels, photovoltaic panels, wind turbines) and more.

“Having spent time in our new home, we could see how the Joaquin’s design works and we save a lot on supplies, even for long periods it is not necessary to heat or cool the house.”
